Player chooses to play as either Shop Owner or Deputy Shop Owner Marcus Hasselton on a map which is modelled completely on the city of Angelou, The Sword Bloke. Following the violent missions, where the quests include anything from beheading a criminal to bombing a fellow Esportivan nation, you work your way up the levels, higher levels means better armour, shooting accuracy and better weapons. Stealing cars, bribing referees @ soccer games, poisoning burgers & feeding people to crocodiles, all possible in Grand Theft Bloke! Nations that can be bombed in-game are Gregoryisgodistan, Free Republics, San Jose Guayabal & Jeckland.

A new sequel was released by Dream Games, Grand Theft Bloke II.
